I’m pleased to announce that we have several organizational changes, which took effect on May 1, 2015. Chris Lintecum has been named Vice President, Distribution, for Transamerica’s Life & Protection (L&P) division. For the past two years, Chris has provided strong leadership in his role as Vice President of Administration, New Business. He led the improvement of our service standards, communications and systems throughout L&P. I know that Chris will use everything he’s learned about our business and operations over the last 17 years in this new and pivotal role.
As a result of Chris’s new position, we are making some changes that will leverage the talent we have within our organization and facilitate additional alignment within our teams.
New Business, Commissions & Contracting
Greg Bobzien will move into the position of Vice President of Administration, New Business, Commissions & Contracting. Greg brings 25 years of experience with Transamerica to this role, most recently supporting our Distribution Groups on commissions, contracting/licensing, premium and disbursements. He has a proven ability to implement process efficiencies, identify opportunities for improvement and collaborate across functions to bring the best solution to the table. Greg will retain responsibility for the Distribution Compensation and Contracting/Licensing teams.
New Business – Brokerage
Jeff Marko is taking on the role of Director of New Business, Brokerage. Jeff has been with Transamerica for over 20 years. He has extensive experience across new business, contracting/licensing, commissions and premium. Jeff’s leadership and knowledge of the organization will be a tremendous asset to our new business teams and we look forward to continued progress under Jeff’s leadership.
Transamerica is laser-focused on providing an enhanced customer experience, so I am also pleased to announce the creation of a new inforce Customer Care team, which Connie Whitlock will lead. It will include the Contact Centers, Claims, Policy Service, Disbursements and Premium. With Transamerica’s commitment to customer advocacy, it makes sense to bring these functions together. We are adding additional support with our new Customer Escalation Teams, which will facilitate faster resolution of customer issues and focus on the customer, from post issue to claims.
